Review: Castle Coffee

Castle Coffee is a local coffee shop here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded by owner Matthew Castleberry. It is a small coffee shop in Downtown. Their main goal as a company is to cultivate the community. One way that Castle Coffee lives up to this goal is by roasting their own coffee beans. They offer many different types of coffee beans to customers from Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Mexico, Kenya, and Columbia. This local coffee shop is also very supporting of the community. They regularly participate in local markets and sell local artists’ work in the coffee shop.

The atmosphere of the Castle Coffee is inviting, warm, and friendly. Not only is everyone welcome into this small local coffee shop, but pets are also welcome. Comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, and of course amazing beverages and pastries are available to customers. Castle Coffee is a great place to visit for a quick cup of coffee, a latte, a pastry, or even a place to finish up work.

When we visited Castle Coffee the drink of choice was a vanilla oat milk latte. It was amazing! The coffee had strong notes, but the oat milk and vanilla counteracted with that making it an amazing drink. If you are in the area, definitely make a stop at this local coffee shop, you will not regret it!
